What Happens in Vegas - trailer

movie trailer. 2 people meet in Vegas: party, gambling, sex, wedding, trouble........... you know
starring: Cameron Diaz.

Another Vegas movie that I worked in..

Starring Ashton Kutcher and Cameron Diaz and filmed at the Bellagio and Planet Hollywood. It was kind of a boring gig - not much to say except the trailer doesnt look very good. This movie looks a bit campy and I will probably get it on Movieforumz.com.

My Easter feast at Le Golosita

Easter Dinner is not a big tradition in Las Vegas for me yet, though I did stop in to Le Golosita 9500 S Eastern Ave. (702)216-4080-for early dinner on Sunday and was pleasantly surprised. The owners also run Zefferino's in the Venetian . Maria Theresa and her husband, Francesco are so lovely, so genuine -- there's also Aldo -- and on the floor, Pierre -- the token Frenchman...We had the appetiser special , butternut squash soup and the Fontina Chicken for the entree- Delicioso! Tender, crispy, Fontina stuffed chicken breast with a lite Fontina cream sauce-served with fresh, steamed green beans and pan fried potatoes. We also tried the Caesar Salad- and were slightly disappointed that it did not contain the anchovies that we had requested. Oh well, all in all the meal was good. The main attraction of Le Golosita is definitely the atmosphere. The place shouts of romance. Its gorgeous inside and out on the patio is lovely. The prices are totally reasonable -- most entrees are all under $20 -- love that...in fact, most of the pastas were under $15 and finally the pastry shop next door is irresistible- Cakes, gelato and yummy baked goods.
I would say the service was great as well. Note: they have an upstairs private room -- perfect for 20 - 24 -- it's a little cramped, but there are restrooms upstairs...local companies take note -- this is perfect for a lunch meeting .Located on Eastern behind White Chocolate Grill, its a perfect place for a first date or Easter dinner.

ShoWest 2008 hits the strip

Las Vegas lives up to its sometimes-wishful "Hollywood East" nickname this week as the annual ShoWest convention and trade show attracts movie industry movers and shakers, from world-famous faces to technical wizards.
Today's famous faces, for example, include Oscar winners Robert Redford, Helen Hunt, director Ang Lee and writer-director Alan Ball, all of whom are scheduled to receive awards at a luncheon "celebrating the importance of independent and specialty film."
Independent and specialty releases may be in this afternoon's spotlight at ShoWest, which is headquartered at Paris Las Vegas. But it's the anticipated blockbusters -- high-profile sequels, effects-laden comic book adaptations, comedies and cinematic thrill rides -- that steal the focus every year.
Cameron Diaz and Ashton Kutcher invited audiences to "get lucky" with them in the summer comedy "What Happens in Vegas."
And "21," about a group of MIT math whizzes demonstrating their blackjack prowess, premieres Wednesday at ShoWest, with star and producer Kevin Spacey joining co-stars Jim Sturgess, Kate Bosworth, Laurence Fishburne and others on the red carpet. (The movie hits theaters March 28.)
The "21" cast is scheduled to receive an ensemble award Thursday during ShoWest's closing-night banquet.
Other award-winners expected Thursday include Downey (ShoWest's Male Star of the Year), Anne Hathaway (Female Star of the Year), Seth Rogen (Comedy Star of the Year), Abigail Breslin and Emile Hirsch (Female and Male Star of Tomorrow, respectively), Brendan Fraser (Distinguished Decade of Achievement in Film) and Sarah Jessica Parker (Vanguard Award).

21 - Trailer 1

"21" to be released March 28th

"21" is a 2008 drama film from Columbia Pictures. It stars Jim Sturgess, Kevin Spacey, Kate Bosworth, and Laurence Fishburne. The film is based on the best-selling book by Ben Mezrich, Bringing Down the House. about a group of M.I.T. students who took the casinos for a millions counting cards playing Blackjack. The film is scheduled for release on March 28, 2008. Finally, a movie worth going to see at the theater! I actually worked as an extra on this film playing a cocktail waitress at the Riviera. Also, at Red Rock Station playing a nightclub patron and pool guest (btw-it was 40 degrees that day) and at the Palms at Ghostbar. It was a blast!

LIENS FILED AGAINST VENETIAN, 40/40 CLUB
Two separate liens have been filed against The Venetian and the newly opened 40/40 Club owned by music mogul Jay-Z, according to the Clark County Recorder's office.
One of the liens seeks more than $170,000 and the other, by Nevada Ready Mix, asks for about $5,100. The largest lien was placed by Robert Brummet of Southland Industries for work done by Madison Grace Construction Services.
Both were filed last month. The 40/40 Club opened New Year’s Eve in the new Palazzo, the sister property to The Venetian.
