Playboys Playmate of the Year @ Rain

The wait is over. Playboy has named Hope Dworaczyk Playmate Of The Year. Page Six reports that the Texas native lived in New York for eight years before moving to Los Angeles. "I guess you could say it was a pretty safe neighborhood for me." She posted for the April 2009 cover with Seth Rogan and her other duties include hosting "Inside Fashion" for E! in Canada.Playboy founder Hugh Hefner will be on hand to announce the Playmate of the Year at Rain Nightclub at the Palms. Singer Robin Thicke will do a special performance and additional entertainment will include Sony recording artist The White Tie Affair as well as The Playmate Dancers. The afterparty will take place at the Playboy Club.Special guest Pamela Anderson will also be honored.

On April 19, 2009, in Las Vegas, Nevada, 23 year-old Kristen Dalton was crowned Miss USA 2009 in front of a worldwide television audience. On May 15th she will crown the new Miss U.S.A. live at Planet HollywoodA relative renaissance woman, Dalton is also an accomplished singer, actress and dancer. As Miss USA, Dalton is a spokeswoman for the official causes of the organization, which include breast and ovarian cancer education, research and legislation - a platform that is close to her heart. She enjoys traveling nationwide as an advocate for organizations such as the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund, the National Breast Cancer Coalition, Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, Nevada Cancer Institute and Gilda's Club, among others. After her reign, Dalton aspires to be a motivational talk show host and a Goodwill Ambassador to the United Nations.
