Workers turn Cashman Center into a gigantic bowling alley

U.S. Bowling Congress Open Championships
Cashman Center will be transformed into one of the largest bowling centers in Southern Nevada for the upcoming U.S. Bowling Congress Open Championships, which will run through August.
An estimated 150,000 people will come through Las Vegas over the next six months as part of a competition that will temporarily turn a portion of Cashman Center into one of the largest bowling centers in Las Vegas.
The U.S. Bowling Congress Open Championships — considered the world’s largest grass-roots sporting event — kick off with a Masters exhibition of professional bowlers Feb. 9-15. Competition among more than 85,000 bowlers on 17,200 teams begins Feb. 21 and runs 154 straight days through July 24.

"The Hills" Lauren Conrad turns 23

Lauren Conrad of the hit TV show "The Hills," celebrating her 23rd birthday Saturday at Lavo and Tao with rumored boyfriend, actor Kyle Howard, and her best friend, Lauren "Lo" Bosworth. Conrad's friends surprised her by buying Venetian masks, which they all donned throughout dinner at Lavo.
The "group" must have been quite small. Audrina and Brody "Bromance" Jenner were both missing from the guest list.
They dined at Lavo on a specially prepared meal (no carb, no fat, no taste) by Chef Ludo Lefebvre.
After dinner, they headed to club Tao and danced in a private skybox.

My freind Amber invited me to see Snoop Dog @ The palms on Wednesday night-Of course I said yes. I was surprised to find that the event was sponsored by a company called ScullCandy. I thought it was snowboard manufacturer, as you can see the crowd was very chilled, actually ScullCandy makes headphones. Not sure what the connection was to the "Snow Show". We had a blast drinking sparkling wine and Hornitos tequila before heading down to Rain Nightclub to see Snoop perform.
